  • Anya, my wife, who supported me throughout the process in so many ways that I cannot possibly list all of them

  • Anna Szilagyi, my mother, who brought me up, surrounded me with books and knowledge and nurtured my appreciation for them

  • George Por, my father, who introduced me to the internet and technology and started me on the path to information sciences

  • My professors, who opened my mind in directions I did not even knew existed and helped me acquire and integrate new skills and knowledge

  • My classmates, with whom I worked on class projects and who taught me via formal and informal discussions

  • David Hendry, my advisor, who kept track of my progress and advised me in building this portfolio

  • Marie Potter, at the iSchool's Office of Student and Academic Services, who answered all my questions and helped me from start of the program to finish

  • United States of America, who accepted and naturalized me and gave me the opportunity to study something I love and am good at
